After a long wait, we are finally able to reproduce hand gestures with relative accuracy. This validates our circuitry and will act as a stepping stone towards comprehensive hand control. To name a few, we are able to produce the following gestures: we can directly produce a pinching action, point at oneself and we can also produce a fist.
The rest of the week, we will be preparing for our Capstone Design Symposium where we will be presenting a prototype of Periphero. Come check out Periphero on March 18 from 1-5pm in the Davis Centre at the University of Waterloo.
