Head Shot

I am an Assistant Professor in the department of Systems Design Engineering at the University of Waterloo. I started my faculty position at the University of Waterloo in January 2012. Prior to this, I was a postdoctoral researcher at Environment Canada, where I was part of a team working on the assimilation of data to improve forecasts of sea ice conditions. I carried out my PhD at the University of Waterloo on turbulence modelling and worked for two years as a member of a team at Natural Resources Canada working on the reduction of greenhouse gas emisisions from Canadian industry. You can find some information on my current research activities on the following pages. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions or are interested in graduate studies.
