"Design is not for philosophy it's for life."- Issey Miyake
Based on this famous quote I believe the products we design can enhance the way we experience life. My goal is to be part of an innovative team that strives to make impactful contributions to the technological world. The brilliance of UX Design is it motivates me in the way I see life. Everything I see in life, inspires me in some way or the other, as a UX Designer.
Starting with raw sketches using pen and paper (or whiteboard), to using methods like Contextual Inquiry, User Modeling, Storyboarding, and Affinity diagram. Tools like OmniGraffle and Visio are helpful to create these models.
The next step is to give life to my ideas. I start this process by converting raw sketches into wireframes and low-fidelity prototypes, using tools such as Sketch3, Balsamiq, Axure and Moqups. This step is focused on having quick mock-ups for testing user interactions with the system.
Finally, its time to introduce my ideas out into the real world and see if my users are on the same page. By conducting formal and informal user testing I collect feedback on test design, and analyze these findings using both Quantitative and Qualitative methods. The design goes through an iterative process before finalizing.
