Magnetic Sensor
  • Summer 2008:Institute of Geodesy and Navigation, Universitat der Bundeswehr, Munchen, Germany

Time based positioning using Magnetic Sensor

The magnetic sensors measure the Roll, Tilt and Pitches angles with reference to the Earth's
magnetic field and helps in time based positioning. The information was retrieved with a software
program written in Visual Basic for serial communication with the sensors. The reading achieved
were converted in useful form i.e. in Roll, Tilt and Pitches angles of the object on which the sensor
    was mounted.

Three Tank
  • Summer 2007:Institute of Automation and Control, Universitat der Bundeswehr, Munchen, Germany

Fault Tolerant Control System for Three Tank System

    • Designed and simulated Fault Tolerant Control System for Bench mark Three Tank System
on MATLAB/SIMULINK along with designing of flatness based non linear controller for Fault
      Identification and Fault Accommodation
    • Developed newer mathematical derivative estimator to tackle the problem of differentiating
      noise fouled signal.
    • Followed up the entire outlined scheme on true laboratory system, via SIEMENS made DSpace
Control Card by software and hardware integration
Microcontroller
  • Summer 2006:Central Scientific Instruments Organization, Chandigarh, India

    Standalone Density Meter

    • Designed and implemented stand alone DENSITY METER by exploiting the principle of Resonant
Frequency, to generate time varying frequency signal for calculating Density of fluids
    • Programmed microcontrollers 8051-52 and burnt related programs using Super Pro kit and
      successfully tested them
    • Designed amplifier circuit using power transistors, analog & digital circuits involved as a
part of SIGNAL PROCESSING of the output signal of Micro-controller and soldered complete hardware
      on PCB

The design resulted in one of the most accurate Density Meter and was extended to display
    the densities on LCD screen
