Currently I am focusing on "Transport Phenomena in PEM Fuel Cells". In addition, I am interested in the following areas: Electro-kinetic Transport Phenomena, Colloidal Interactions, Finite Element Modeling and Computer Simulation, MEMS and Micro-fabrication, Micro- and Nano-fluidics, Natural Convection, and Soft-lithographic Techniques.
Over the past decades, I have been awarded several major scholarship and award for my academic achievements including "Dr. DG Desa Gold Medal" in B.Sc., "Alberta Ingenuity Scholaship" in M.Sc. at the University of Alberta, "NSERC Canada Graduate Scholarship - Doctoral" in Ph.D. at the University of Waterloo. Perhaps, most prestigious one is "Dorothy J Killam Memorial Graduate Prizes". This award recognizes best student in Engineering, Mathematics and Physical Sciences at the University of Alberta in every year. Check my awards link for more details
In terms of research, I have published several journal articles in International Journal of Thermal Science, Langmuir, Journal of Colloid and Interface Science, Colloids and Surfaces, Journal of Electroanalytical Chemistry etc. Most of these publications are from the research I have done during my M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees.
