  • Student Life Center

The student life center offers a variety of foods at varying costs. It is just like any typical cafeteria at Waterloo. The main food serving area consists of a deli (for sandwiches), Pizza Pizza (for pizza), a wrap place (for wraps). It also offers beverages and soup at a relatively low cost. The main courses, however, can be somewhat costly (averaging from $7 - $9 without drink and without WAT Card). Village one meal plans however, offer a 50% discount while UWP meal plans offer a mere 8% discount. Despite the cost, the main courses offered differ each night, and is usually quite tasty.

Other than the main food serving area, “Ground Zero” located right across from the fed office, also offers fine breakfast. It will soon be converted into Tim Horton’s; which offers coffee and donuts.

    Davis Center

The Davis Center is similar to a mini food court, it has a pseudo Chinese food counter, a fast food counter and a Mr. Sub counter. The Davis Center is relatively close to the engineering buildings, and is directly connected to the math building, it is a very popular place to eat at during lunch time.

    South Campus Hall

The SCH cafeteria is located above the bookstore and giftshop near the University Ave. entrance of Waterloo. Only open during lunch time, it serves roast beef, pasta and a daily fish every day. In terms of seating, it is usually not as congested as the above two eating places.
