Symposium Team

Arun Das

Arun Das Arun is interested in the field of autonomous robotics and will be starting his Master's degree in this area in the Fall. Specifically, he is interested in the design of consumer vehicle autonomous systems, robust vehicle state estimation, and decentralized control strategies.

Hang Dong

Hang Dong Hang enjoys learning and tinkering, and has developed a special interest in the subject of automation and robotics. He oversees mechanical design and fabrication in this project, as well as component integration with electrical aspect. Hang believes the project holds significant potential, and the concept of Claytronics in which it builds upon will drastically change how people view ordinary physical objects in the next two decades.

Chris Elliott

Chris Elliott Chris is passionate about software development and applying his skills to challenging projects. The software design and implementation are his key responsibilities with a focus on picking up new languages and skills during the design project. He is currently completing his degree with the Management Science option and plans to start full time with Google upon graduation while pursuing an MBA part time.

Patrick Francisco

Patrick Francisco Patrick is enthusiastic about creating and building parts and tools to help him achieve his goals. He is responsible for the fabrication and assembly of the final project to increase his experience and exposure to machining and designing. He will complete his undergraduate degree in Mechatronics Engineering shortly with the intention of joining the workforce.
