Christine Steele is in her final term of mechatronics engineering. Her work experience includes co-op terms as a research assistant at the University of Waterloo, in the R & D department at Volvo construction equipment in Goderich Ontario, and in the Design Verification department at Northern Digital Inc. in Waterloo. Since testing and quality assurance do not comprise a fourth year project in and of themselves, she chose this project as it speaks to her strong interst in working to make more sensible use of energy in household applications.
