Neil Mathew

MASc. Candidate, University of Waterloo

I received my BASc. in Mechatronics Engineering at UW in 2010. I then moved to New York City to work at Bloomberg L.P. for a year on intelligent financial news and data analytics research before I rejoined the University of Waterloo in 2011, as an M.A.Sc. research student at the WAVE Lab in the Department of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering.

My research advisors are Dr. Steven Waslander and Dr. Stephen Smith and my work focusses on motion planning and coordination of multi-robot teams for long-term autonomous missions such as exploration, coverage and surveillance
