PhysioTrack
5
At-home exercise completion is a key part of physiotherapy that many patients struggle with. Rotator cuff injuries are very common, and as such, our solution focuses on those injuries. Physiotrack uses IMU sensors and a smartphone application to improve therapeutic outcomes and patient experience. The application provides real-time feedback to users about their exercise form, helping them correct errors at home. Additionally, the app records data about their exercise sessions, allowing patients to visualize their progress.

UltiClipper
6
Despite the growth of Ultimate into an international sport with over 170,000 registered amateur athletes, a lack of investment in the professional side of the sport has resulted in few tools being developed for improving team performance via video analysis. We created UltiClipper, a video analysis tool accessible to amateur Ultimate teams that allows users to index, search, and view their footage in an organized, secure, and insightful manner.

FoodPrint
7
FoodPrint focuses on minimizing the carbon footprint of a given grocery list or meal plan by suggesting alternative items, while also following the user’s budget and macronutrient preferences. The global food system contributes to one-third of global greenhouse gas emissions per year.
By swapping just one serving of beef for turkey per day, for example, individuals could halve their carbon footprint. Thus, FoodPrint aims to be a simple mobile application that consciously informs individual grocery decisions to reduce the carbon footprint of the user.

WakeyZ

As university students, getting enough sleep is hard and waking up feeling well-rested can be even harder. Sleep inertia is a formal term for the grogginess and tiredness that can cause people to feel disoriented upon waking, feel the urge to go back to sleep, and have impaired performance throughout the day. We have created an Apple Watch-based smart alarm clock that will wake people up at an optimized sleep time that will maximize restfulness, using real-time physiological data.
