The RangeRover device case is ready to go, and our good friend, Chime the poodle, tried it on and modeled it for us. Don't worry, no testing was performed on Chime.

The final PCB arrived and all of the components, aside from the status LED, on/off switch and speaker, have been soldered in place. RangeRover is ready to be programmed!
RangeRover 3D Printed Case

The device case is printed and ready to be waterproofed and tested. A higher resolution of 3D printing will be used for the case that we showcase at the design symposium as our completed prototype.
PCBs Arrived!

The printed circuit boards came in today from Alberta Printed Circuits. All the traces look good and we're getting ready to solder the components on.

Device Case Modification

We've made some changes to the case design. Originally it was designed to slide over a dog collar, however, we could foresee too many issues with it not being secure enough and it required the case to be larger than we would have liked. The new design uses a clip-on technique which we believe is a good solution to our earlier concerns. The new design is much simpler and removes the need for the spring loaded locking mechanism that the old design used, while also reducing the overall size of the case.

We've gotten our site up and running! It's still a bit of a work-in-progress right now, but we'll be posting more content as we continue to work on our product.
