TerraTable
21
The TerraTable is a dynamic terrain display designed to revolutionize the way tabletop games are played. As avid players of the popular game Dungeons & Dragons, the TerraTable team discovered a lack of available methods to present three-dimensional movement or environments that can be tailored to the exact needs of the players. With a user-controllable platform, new landscapes can rapidly be developed and verticality can be more easily represented, better immersing players into their fantasy world.

AWC Solutions
22
The AWC is a fully autonomous, non-destructive solution for eliminating weeds in a home garden. Using computer vision and machine learning technologies, the AWC is able to scan its surroundings, identify nearby weeds, and navigate towards them. A unique weed removal mechanism was designed to pull out weeds entirely, including their root system, without the use of harmful chemicals. This ensures that weeds that are pulled out will not grow back, with minimal impact to the surrounding garden.

RendAR makes it easy for retailers to digitize products and add them to their online store. COVID-19 accelerated ecommerce, pushing brick-and-mortar retailers online. For retailers with limited technical expertise and admin resources, this has been a challenge. RendAR automates product photography, data entry, and Shopify integration. With RendAR, retailers can capture quality, consistent product images and data and get them online with the press of a button.

Bedroom producing and music mixing have become increasingly common. Challenges faced while attempting to hear the true sound of a producer’s mix are first order reflection sound waves and reverberant waves caused by interactions with walls and furniture. The goal of this project is to design and build a system which boosts or attenuates certain frequency ranges to find the true sound.

Sprinkle
25
Sprinkle is an automated spice dispensing system designed to improve kitchen efficiency. The main advantage of sprinkle is that it allows users to select a pre-existing recipe, and the set of dispensers will dispense the required spices in an efficient, organized and precise manner, allowing users to experience the ultimate simplicity when trying to prepare the spices for their meals. Moreover, the system supports multi-device connections, allowing users to expand to as many spices needed, especially in a restaurant-kitchen environment.
