WaterlooWorks is a system used by over 24,333 undergraduate students at the University of Waterloo to find co-op jobs. Students struggle to find quality jobs on the platform, leading to excessive amounts of time spent manually sifting through thousands of often-irrelevant job postings. We present Waterloo SearchWorks, an updated version of WaterlooWorks containing a more advanced search engine that helps students find the most relevant jobs more efficiently and effectively.

As e-commerce grows, many independent small business owners have emerged that struggle to effectively manage their business. Our product addresses the need for a solution which will aid small business owners in increasing the profitability of their business through efficient customer management, improved scheduling, streamlined payment handling, dynamic pricing, and customer growth. We propose a booking software that will incorporate the concept of a dynamic pricing mathematical model based on historical data, that will increase the revenue and utilization rate of the service time slots.

Our team decided to pursue an opportunity in the cryptocurrency space. We identified that lack of knowledge and asset stability are the main pain points when people enter this market and that there exists a need for a tool that assists users with making safe and educated decisions regarding asset purchases and portfolio creation. We are building a platform that will help users generate diversified crypto portfolios based on their risk tolerance and investment goals while educating users on crypto-related knowledge.
