During the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, there has been a strain on staffing in Schlegel Villages (Long-Term Care Homes), resulting in the decline of Level of Care for residents. The team examined the inefficiencies within the Staffing Allocation process by General Managers and Nurses, which plays a key role in resource management and resident care. A Decision Support Tool has been developed, which uses optimization to output Staffing Allocation suggestions and aid in the decision-making of maximizing the Level of Care of each resident.

The influence of rapid technological digitalization in the B2B and B2C financial banking industries has resulted in the sudden transformational shift from prioritizing in-person client relationships to enhancing user experiences on online platforms. This project focuses on exploring pain points experienced by banking customers due to growing digitization. We narrowed down on improving BMO's online banking interface with the end goal of enhancing user experience and increasing customer satisfaction.

In Ontario, high school students are required to complete 40 hours of community involvement to receive their Ontario Secondary School Diploma. Unfortunately, due to restrictions brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, high school students across Ontario are struggling to find volunteering opportunities to complete this requirement. MyTime allows students to overcome these difficulties by providing a web application to connect with several volunteer organizations, all while streamlining the tedious process of being able to track hours and get the required approval signatures, in one place.
