By September 2014, the Chemical Engineering department will have seven faculty and

three staff members working out of the Mike and Ophelia Lazaridis Quantum-Nano Centre

(QNC). This new building will help University faculty, researchers and students develop

transformative technologies with quantum computers, innovative quantum devices and

nanotechnologies to benefit the greater population in many ways.

A number of Chemical Engineering faculty members will work in nano-research labs to

provide Nanotechnology Engineering students with the necessary resources for their

          learning and research.
