5.1.1

The teams will descend one at a time. A random draw or other random event will be held to determine the descent order. This draw or activity will take place on thursday evening. As the teams are chosen, they will be called to the stage area to pick their place in the descent order.

5.1.3

Each team will have a maximum of two runs down the hill.

5.1.4

During a run, the participants are forbidden from making contact with the race course in terms of helping themselves by pushing or steering.

5.1.5

A certified motorcycle helmet (DOT, SNELL - comparison) is mandatory for all participants who are taking part in a run. Hockey or bicycle helmets are not permitted.

5.2.2

Each team will have two options for facilitating its start of each run:

  1. Five seated participants and one pusher who discontinues contact with the toboggan at the start line.
  2. Four seated participants with two pushers, one of whom finds his/her seat on the toboggan at the start line while the other pusher discontinues contact with toboggan.

5.3.3

All five participants must be on the toboggan until the time it reaches a complete stop.

5.3.5

50% of the points will be awarded if the toboggan overturns during braking and stopping.
