Since 1992 it has been established that GNCTR will alternate between Eastern Canada (Quebec, Ontario, and the Maritimes) and Western Canada (British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba). This year only Western teams may bid. Applications will be accepted until February 5, 1999. |

9.2 |
All applications must be submitted in written format. They must include a plan of the event and a letter of support from the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering. |

9.3 |
The Organizing Committee of GNCTR 1999 and the Dean of Engineering at University of Waterloo will evaluate each application. The name of the 2000
hosting team will be announced at the awards banquet. |
