Fluence

13

Monetized content creation is a newly developing profession sponsored by companies advertising through media platforms. Many small-scale social media influencers are unsure how to price their services and are exploited by companies since there is no standardized pay structure within the industry. Fluence is a web application that expedites connecting creators to talents of similar size, content, and following. This allows influencers to build informal networks to regularly compare and adjust their own pricing schemes as well as ask important questions when working with brands.

Bettr: Mock betting platform helping educate novice bettors

14

The popularity of sports betting has skyrocketed over the last few years, with legislation prohibiting the activity being abrogated worldwide at a torrid pace. In 2021, the NBA announced multi-year partnerships with DraftKings and FanDuel, two of the most prominent players in the industry. Bettr is a platform designed specifically for novice sports bettors – our goal is to enable sports fans to experience the engagement, competition and thrills associated with betting, but in a risk-free, educational environment.

AlumniTracking: Optimizing the alumni tracking process to enhance the Management Engineering Program

15

As the Management Engineering program continues to rapidly grow, with more than 600 alumni over the past 10 years, the current process of collecting and analyzing alumni data is becoming unsustainable and increasingly difficult to manage. The developed alumni tracking tool is a cohesive and integrated system designed to facilitate the data management process, while automating the data analysis process to report on relevant trends. The alumni tracking tool hopes to effectively identify trends that can reshape the Management Engineering program to reflect market demands.
