The new Engineering 6 building (E6) opened in October 2011, and is home to all things Chemi-
cal Engineering.
The impressive 115,000 square-foot building features 48 state-of-the-art research labs for
graduate students and faculty working in the areas of polymer science, biochemical and
biomedical engineering, advanced materials and green reaction, and electro-chemical and
process systems engineering.
