A MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIR

I am thrilled to present to you the 2021 Management Engineering Capstone Design Course projects. Our 17 teams of fourth-year Management Engineering students have worked hard over the past 12 months to identify problems in a range of emerging fields, conduct in-depth analyses, and design effective solutions. As always, I am extremely proud of the work completed by our students, and wish to acknowledge the resiliency and perseverance demonstrated by this cohort as they collaborated remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic. I give them my loudest applause and sincerest congratulations. I also wish to thank each team’s faculty mentor who served as an advisor and provided valuable guidance throughout the capstone journey. A brief note on future collaborations, if your organization is interested in working with a management engineering team in the coming years, please contact our capstone design course instructor and coordinator, Ada Hurst, as detailed at the end of this brochure. Capstone projects are showcases of the talent and creativity of our students. They are an indispensable part of our Management Engineering program. I hope you enjoy learning about the impressive student projects!
