In recent years, solar energy has become more accessible for residential use due to efficiency advancements and lower production costs, yet it remains under-utilized in Ontario homes. Soli is a decision support system that addresses the nuances of investing in solar energy for homeowners. Through a dynamic analysis that provides insights into potential cost savings and carbon footprint reduction, Soli aims to equip homeowners with a streamlined process to guide their decision regarding investments in solar panels.

‘Farmers feed cities’ is a popular saying in rural Ontario. As true as this may be, significant challenges exist in getting the food from the farmers’ fields onto the plates of consumers. With the COVID-19 pandemic and uncertainty around traditional farmers' markets, these challenges are amplified. Field Fresh seeks to improve access between potential buyers and sellers (consumers or local grocery stores and farmers) by creating a supply and demand matching engine integrated with a digital marketplace.

Enablement of responsibility and organizational skills in children at a young age is usually ignored until the benefits associated with early adoption of these skills are missed. These skills help children stay on track at home and do well in school. However, children often lose track of day-to-day tasks and lack initiative and motivation for planning out their day. TinyHelper is an application focused on improving executive functioning skills in children through extrinsic/intrinsic motivation, task ownership, and establishing a routine at home.
