Well, we literally JUST got back from Montreal; in fact, the cube truck isn't even here yet.  I won't keep you in suspense, our results are as follows:
  • Best Brake Design
  • 3rd Place Overall
It was a fantastic 5 days.  Competition was fierce in the Circa fly-ash competition, which we were hoping to win.  Our braking system, which was designed in the final 2 weeks before competition, turned out to be fantastic in it's simplicity.  I think everyone was happy with our performance on race day, and had a great time out there (including me and my plastic-bag toboggan).  A big thanks goes to all of our sponsors, and the organizers of this event.  And a super big thanks to Mike K, our team captain.

If you would like to upload/download pictures from the trip, please go to ImangeStation with MemberName = uwgnctr2006 and Password = montreal.  Please name your album with your name, so that if someone is looking for a specific picture it might be easier to find.  Thanks everyone!
