Well, we literally JUST got back from Montreal; in fact, the cube truck isn't even here yet.  I won't keep you in suspense, our results are as follows:
  • Best Brake Design
  • 3rd Place Overall
It was a fantastic 5 days.  Competition was fierce in the Circa fly-ash competition, which we were hoping to win.  Our braking system, which was designed in the final 2 weeks before competition, turned out to be fantastic in it's simplicity.  I think everyone was happy with our performance on race day, and had a great time out there (including me and my plastic-bag toboggan).  A big thanks goes to all of our sponsors, and the organizers of this event.  And a super big thanks to Mike K, our team captain.

If you would like to upload/download pictures from the trip, please go to ImangeStation with MemberName = uwgnctr2006 and Password = montreal.  Please name your album with your name, so that if someone is looking for a specific picture it might be easier to find.  Thanks everyone!

After an obviously long time without internet access, the website is being updated again.  In the past few months, and ongoing, the sled is being built.  If you are interested in helping out while you visit K-W, please contact Russ P or Mike K.  If  you are working at a new company and would like to approach them about sponsorship, contact James J.  I hope everyone is enjoying their workterm.
